The Wii has sold 50m units, the DS has sold 100m
"Global sales of Nintendo's Wii console have passed 50 million, the company's boss Satoru Iwata has said. The Wii is now the fastest-selling games console in history, surpassing the PlayStation 2. Mr Iwata also said that Nintendo's handheld DS console had shipped 100m units around the world."

Facebook is now the largest social network in 9 of the top 12 European countries
comScore data for February 2009 shows that Facebook is the largest social network in 9 of the top 12 European markets as measured by unique visitors - UK, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Denmark & Finland. In Austria Netlog is larger (but Facebook is only 25,000 visitors behind), in Germany StudiVz (including SchuelerVz) is larger, and in the Netherlands Hyves is lager. Facebook is 2nd in all of these markets apart from Germany, where it is fourth behind StudiVz sites, wer-kennt-wen, and MySpace.

Yahoo Mail generates one third of all Yahoo traffic in the US
"Yahoo!'s mail property is its most trafficked property, receiving more than a third (36.71%) of visits to a custom category of 80 leading Yahoo! properties in February. The next two most popular domains are the portal front page, www.yahoo.com, and Yahoo! Search."

YouTube had over 100m viewers in the US in January 2009
"More than 147 million U.S. Internet users watched an average of 101 videos per viewer in January. Google Sites grew to 102 million online video viewers during the month, or more than two out of every three Internet users who watched video. Fox Interactiveranked second with 62.1 million viewers, followed by Yahoo! Sites (41.9 million) and Microsoft Sites (30.0 million)."
